The Parramatta Eels are proud to announce that club legend Tim Mannah has officially joined the Parramatta Eels Foundation as an Ambassador. This exciting new chapter in Mannah’s illustrious career further cements his lasting legacy at the Eels both on and off the field.

Making his debut with Parramatta back in 2009, Mannah played 233 NRL matches for the Eels and became a beloved figure with the Club’s fan base while earning the respect of teammates and coaches alike. His commitment to the Club, his discipline, and his community involvement helped solidify his status as a true Club legend.

Alongside fellow Foundation Ambassador and Club legend, Peter Sterling, Mannah be will raising awareness for the Foundation’s initiatives and be involved in campaigns that will support our Pathways and Academy programs and key community initiatives.

“I’m excited and humbled to be named an ambassador for the Parramatta Eels Foundation,” said Tim Mannah.

“The Eels hold a special place in my heart, and I’ve always been passionate about making a positive difference in the community. I’m looking forward to seeing the Foundation grow and flourish alongside the people who have supported me so well throughout my career,” he added.

Parramatta Eels CEO Jim Sarantinos said, “It’s great to have Tim on board as an Ambassador of the Eels Foundation, his connection to the Club and our community make him a perfect fit for this role. Tim’s desire to see the Club succeed and give back to the Eels community will add great value to the Foundation, and I’m sure he will help create a positive impact for future generations of Eels players coming through our system, as he did during his time as a player at the Club,” added Sarantinos.

With an expected completion date of March 2025, the new COE will be the largest rugby league facility in Australia. It will provide a world class training facility for NRL, NRLW and our elite pathway and academy programs, all training together under one roof – as one Club.

The new headquarters will be more than a training facility. It will showcase the Club’s rich history and be a place to celebrate and welcome the Eels’ community, partners, members and supporters.

Importantly, the Foundation will help support social and community engagement through programs that focus on mental health, respect, celebrating culture and active kids.

The Club has partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation Limited (ASF) which was established in 1986 with the sole purpose of generating funding for the development of sport. The ASF is governed by the Australian Sports Commission Act 1989 which enables it to offer tax deductions for donations of $2 or more.
