BREAKING NEWS: Cowboys star career at stake after making huge mistake against referee.

Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons fumed at an official over a call during a loss to the Miami Dolphins on Christmas eve.

The edge rusher was penalized for roughing the passer after hitting Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa during the 22-20 loss on Sunday evening.

And the All-Pro linebacker couldn’t hide his frustrations as he launched into a furious rant, screaming at the referee and had to be held back by teammate DeMarcus Lawrence

As Dallas held a narrow 7-6 lead, Parsons almost secured the sack on Tagovailoa but the Miami signal caller had already slung his pass, making the linebacker a second too late as he took him out and leading to him being flagged.

‘It’s mind-blowing, the things that are getting called, and the positions that we get put in. We just have to learn how to fight the adversity,’ said Parsons, following the game, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.

‘I know a lot of it is BS, but it’s the world we live in. We’ve got the star on our helmet.’

‘The ref said my intent was to punish the quarterback. How am I trying to punish him if I’m just trying to sack him? It’s not like it was a late hit. It’s not like I’m leaving my feet. I didn’t lead with my head. I don’t know how you make that call,’ added Parsons regarding his roughing the passer penalty.

The Cowboys were flagged six times for 38 yards during the 22–20 loss against Miami. But the Dolphins had their fair share of penalties too, being hit with five for 33 yards during the tight contest.

The Dolphins went on to edge the Christmas Eve matchup, securing their playoff berth with a walk-off field goal.

Jason Sanders kicked his fifth field goal of the day, a 29-yarder as time expired to seal the 22-20 win.
