Eagles’ quarterback suffered a finger injury on his throwing hand last week and we now have an update on that injury as we approach the Wild Card matchup on Monday night.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were able to clinch their spot in the playoffs after defeating the Carolina Panthers 9-0 to win the NFC South on Sunday. The Bucs then had to wait and see how the late slate of games played out to find out who they would be hosting in the Wild Card round – the Dallas Cowboys or the Philadelphia Eagles.
As things continued to play out in both the Eagles’ and Cowboys’ games it became apparent that the Bucs would indeed be hosting the Eagles; a team they lost 25-11 to in Week 3 of this season.
The Eagles haven’t quite been the dominant team they looked to be early on the season, and during their most recent loss on Sunday to the Giants they had suffered a couple of scares including an injury to starting quarterback Jalen Hurts.
