Top USC Trojans quarterback commit has made the biggest choice of his career.

Top USC Trojans quarterback commit Julian Lewis is heading to college one year earlier.

Lewis announced he is reclassifying from the class of 2026 to the class of 2025. He was the No. 1 recruit in his initial class.

It’s not all good news for the Cardinal and Gold, however.

Not only is the five-star sophomore reclassifying, but he will also now consider other offers from top schools like Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, and Texas.

Lewis committed to USC prior to his sophomore high school season in August 2023. It was a massive grab for the USC Trojans, and hopefully, he will remain a Trojan by the time he finishes high school next year.

The five-star quarterback will not be reflected in the 2025 prospect rankings and is listed as the number eight overall player in the 2025 class. This was expected to happen; now it’s here, and we could be getting our future star quarterback a year earlier.
