Brook Lopez has missed the Milwaukee Bucks’ last two games due to a personal issue. There does not seem to be any information out there about what Lopez is going through right now, which could be a cause for concern.
The former All-Star center is now in danger of missing his third straight game on Tuesday when the Bucks face the Phoenix Suns at the Footprint Center.
Milwaukee Bucks Big Man Brook Lopez Questionable Vs. Suns
The Bucks have already submitted their injury report for Tuesday’s contest and Lopez has been included on the roster again. The 35-year-old is once again considered questionable to play because of, presumably, the same personal reasons.
It is worth noting that Lopez had not missed a single game this season prior to his absence on Saturday night. In 48 starts this season, the two-time All-Defense big man has averaged 13.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.8 blocks, while also connecting on 1.8 triples per game.
If Lopez is forced to sit out again, the opening in the starting lineup will be taken by either Bobby Portis or Brook’s twin brother, Robin Lopez.
Lopez started on Saturday against the Mavs, but it was Portis who was inserted in the starting five on Sunday in their loss in Utah. Portis, however, responded to his first start of the season with 27 points on 11-of-20 shooting, seven rebounds, three steals, and four 3-pointers.
