The No. 13 Auburn Tigers beat the No. 11 South Carolina Gamecocks 101-61 at home tonight.
What did Auburn forward Jaylin Williams have to say after the game?
Williams talked about the success he had from 3-point range in this game.
“I would say just being comfortable out there,” Williams said. “I felt like they (South Carolina) didn’t really force me to do anything and I just felt like I had the right looks and we prepared for those looks and I just had to knock them down.”
Williams talked about whether he feels that teams gameplan for him differently now that he has shown his ability to shoot.
“I feel like teams in some ways still sag off me sometimes,” Williams said. “I’m just shooting the ball to make it so that’s all I can say really.”
Williams talked about what Auburn’s preparation for the Kentucky game will be like.
“We get prepared for each team like it’s the same game,” Wiliams said. “Learn their scouts, learn their plays, learn what they like to do, what players like to drive left, whatever. We’re gonna figure out tomorrow what they like to do.”
Auburn takes on the No. 22 Kentucky Wildcats at home on Saturday at 5 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on ESPN and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
