‘Check out’ Four-star linebacker talks on being first offer for OU DC Zac Alley & thoughts on the Sooners.

Jaedon Harmon, one of the top linebackers in the southeast, talks being the first offer for Zac Alley from OU and his thoughts on the Sooners

Over the weekend, one of the top camp circuits in the country hit one of the most talent rich states out there. The UC Report’s Atlanta camp featured some of the nation’s elite prospects across multiple classifications, including four-star linebacker Jaedon Harmon.

Currently ranked as the No. 214 overall prospect in the Top247 for the 2025 cycle, Harmon is a top-25 linebacker nationally and a top-30 player in the state of Georgia. Holding a whopping 32 offers to his name, with even more potentially on the way, the star defender out of Rome High School has seen his recruitment truly step into the spotlight.

“The recruiting process has been great but it’s been getting a little wild,” Harmon said. “It’s starting to pickup a lot, but I’m planning on cutting things down to a top-eight or top-10 sometime around next month.”

“It’s all finally starting to settle in,” Harmon added. “And I’m just really excited about it, cause I worked hard for it.”

One school part of that extensive offer sheet is, of course, Oklahoma. The Sooners entered the mix just last month and are working quickly to become a serious contender.
