St Helens have reportedly missed out on a major Super League signing for the 2025 Super League season.
French publication, L’Independent reported that St Helens were one of two clubs interested in signing Catalans Dragons star Tom Davies.
However, the other club reportedly interested in the former Wigan Warriors winger was Hull KR and they have reportedly won the race to sign the former Grand Finalist.
This comes from Jenna Brooks on Sky Sports who reported that Davies was set to sign for Hull KR for the 2024 season. This would mean that if St Helens were interested in Davies, as they reportedly were, they have missed out on him which could be a significant blow given the reports around one of their star players in the shape of winger Tommy Makinson.
