Agreement claim emerges as Everton to table El Bilal Toure transfer bid.

Everton and Almeria have not yet reached an agreement over the transfer of El Bilal Toure, contrary to reports in the British press, claim Marca.

The Spanish media outlet, via their website [15 July], wrote that despite there being claims of a move being close and everything agreed, there is a chance of the 21-year-old Mali international staying put in Spain.

IDEAL, another Spanish publication claimed on 14 July that the Toffees were set to make a bid that would blow teams out of the water, based on the finances involved.

Tough one?

This does not look like an easy deal to complete as the Spanish club are well aware as to what kind of an asset they’ve got in Toure.

Despite being 21, it seems like he’s got the ability where he can score goals at any level in any country.

They will also be knowing how desperate the Toffees are to secure the services of a new striker so will do everything they can to get the most money from them.

Thus far, it does not seem like any pressure is coming from the striker so Almeria will be happy to keep him for another season.

In 15 league starts last season, he bagged seven goals and provided two assists and that’s impressive for a side of Almeria’s stature.

He would likely offer more of a goal-scoring threat in the Premier League and the Toffees must do whatever they can to sign him.
