The Oklahoma City Thunder ripped off 57 wins in the 2023-24 NBA regular season leading to them nabbing the top seed and Mark Daigneault taking home coach of the year honors.
The Oklahoma City Thunder (57-25) became the youngest team (23.9) to ever clinch the No. 1 seed, getting the top line for just the second time in their renowned history, turning in the third most wins in Thunder history during the 2023-24 campaign.
This marks the second straight season with a 15-plus win improvement as the Thunder turned last season’s 40-42 squad into a 57-win team with largely the same roster banking on internal development and the debut of Chet Holmgren.
A large part of this success has been their bench boss Mark Daigneault who has taken this team from 22 wins his first season all the way to 57 wins with a consistent approach that has led to this young team buying into everything he is selling.
