Dusty May and the Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball program have landed their third 2024 recruit: three-star guard Lorenzo Cason.
Cason was previously committed to FAU, with FAU Owls Nest reporting at the beginning of this month that Cason was granted the release from his letter of intent. The Lakeland, Florida native is rated as the 35th-best combo guard in his class and the 22nd-best recruit from his state according to 247Sports.
When it comes to his game, Cason is quick off the dribble and has a smooth handle. His three-point shot goes in consistently, and he has some real deep range. He’s also lightning quick, finishing through contact at the rim and leading the break well in transition. He’s an incredible athlete who could develop into a lead guard at Michigan in a few seasons
