Four-star athlete Thomas Blackshear announced his commitment to Georgia on Sunday. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound prospect is from Calvary Day School in Savannah, Georgia.
He committed to the Bulldogs over Florida State and Tennessee.
Blackshear is the No. 298 overall prospect and No. 10 athlete in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 2 athlete and No. 37 player in Georgia, according to the On3 industry rankings.
Following Blackshear’s commitment, Georgia’s 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 8 nationally and No. 3 in the SEC. He is the ninth commitment in the Bulldogs’ 2025 class.
As a sophomore, Blackshear recorded 641 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns at Benedictine High School. He led the program to the Georgia 4A state title before transferring to Calvary Day School.
