The Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart have a monster recruiting weekend ahead. Georgia is hosting a number of four- and five-star prospects for Georgia’s annual scavenger hunt weekend.
Five-star offensive tackle recruit David Sanders, who is the second-ranked recruit in the nation, highlights the visitor list for the Bulldogs. Georgia has some ground to make up in the class of 2025 recruiting cycle. The Bulldogs have nine total commitments and the nation’s No. 12 recruiting class. Georgia is recruiting quality players and will finish the year ranked higher than No. 12.
Kirby Smart and Georgia finished the 2024 recruiting cycle with the best class in the nation. Recruits love Georgia’s ability to win national championships and to produce NFL draft picks.
Let’s take a look at the best recruits in town for one of Georgia’s best recruiting weekends of the year.
Five-star safety recruit Trey McNutt plays high school football for Shaker Heights High School in Cleveland, Ohio. The 6-foot, 180-pound safety is considered the No. 24 recruit in the class of 2025 and the No. 1 safety, per 247Sports. McNutt is the second-ranked recruit in Ohio in his recruiting cycle. McNutt recently put Georgia in his top schools.
USC Trojans commitment Isaiah Gibson is still considering Georgia. The Warner Robins High School product (Warner Robins, Georgia) is ranked as four-star recruit and the No. 1 edge defender in the 2025 class. Based on Gibson’s recent social media post, he still holds Kirby Smart in high regard.
Addison is taking an official visit to Georgia from May 17-19. Addison is ranked as a four-star recruit and is a member of the class of 2025. In March, Addison included Georgia in his top schools.
The four-star offensive tackle plays high school football for Sumner High School in Riverview, Florida. Sumner High School is located in the Tampa area. Addison is ranked as the No. 131 recruit in the nation, the No. 14 offensive tackle and the No. 16 player in Florida.
Zayden Walker is the No. 9 recruit in the country and the No. 1 linebacker. He recently named his top four schools of Georgia, Miami, Penn State and South Carolina. Walker plans to announce his commitment on July 5.
Walker plays high school football for Schley County High School in Ellaville, Georgia. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker has excellent speed and also participates in high school basketball.
