BREAKING: New Hull FC reveal shocking message to reporter after Man of the Match display for Bradford Bulls.

New Hull FC signing Jayden Okunbor has spoken out after a standout performance on loan at Bradford Bulls.

Okunbor was a big-name signing, joining the Black and Whites from NRL side Canterbury Bulldogs, but has struggled to make any sort of impact at the MKM Stadium this season since joining alongside Franklin Pele.

He took part in all of the first seven games this season for Hull FC, but was part of a team that only managed to beat London Broncos and was ruthlessly loaned out on a short-term deal after not featuring in any games under interim manager Simon Grix.

After joining the Bradford Bulls, he faced Sheffield Eagles, who had only lost to Wakefield Trinity and Wigan Warriors all season, in a major test.

Remarkably, the Bulls ran out 28-10 victors, with Okunbor scoring a try and lighting up the Odsal field all game.

He was named Man of the Match and would have been pleased to be back in his natural position, given freedom unlike when playing for Tony Smith’s Hull FC.

In an interview with The Game Caller, he spoke about his fortunes: “Yeah, obviously I’ve struggled myself there this year, there’s no one else’s fault but mine, but to come here and just have fun, that’s what I’ve been missing.”
