Senior tight end Benjamin Yurosek brings a combinations of experience and production to the Georgia Bulldogs. Yurosek, who has over 100 career receptions and 1,000 career receiving yards, started his college football career at Stanford before transferring to Georgia.
Yurosek is ranked as the sixth-best transfer tight end in the country and the No. 117 transfer recruit. The former Stanford standout tight end is a four-star transfer, according to 247Sports.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound tight end will compete with snaps alongside Lawson Luckie, Oscar Delp and a pair of true freshmen. Georgia has excellent depth at tight end this season as the Bulldogs work to replace Brock Bowers’ elite production.
Yurosek is a former All-Pac-12 first-team selection. He instantly will be Georgia’s most experienced tight end. The Stanford transfer brings excellent hands to the Georgia offense and is tough to tackle after the catch. In fact, Yurosek could the Georgia tight end most likely to replace some of Brock Bowers’ rushing production.
