Georgia football have just put themselves in the perfect position to land another top talent from the 2025 recruiting class.
After wrapping up his official visit with Kirby Smart and Bulldogs last weekend, highly sought-after wide receiver recruit Jerel Bolder told Rivals.com that his Athens experience “definitely put Georgia a lot higher on my chart.”
Bolder had previously visited the Bulldogs at least two other times and had him on his list of schools that included UVA, NC State, Duke, and Ole Miss.
Bolder, a 6-foot, 195-found receiver, is from Marshville, North Carolina, and enters his senior year at Forest Hills High School after hauling in 43 receptions for 881 yards and 14 touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets in 2023.
Bolder said his “ball tracking skills” are what makes him stand out from the rest of the wideouts in his class and believes his time spent playing baseball helped him with that.
Depending on which recruiting outlet you refer to, Bolder is considered a three or four-star prospect. He is currently the No. 8 recruit in North Carolina and the No. 47 wide receiver in the nation.
Georgia has hit some home runs with their recent official visits, landing commits from five-star linebacker Zayden Walker, five-star tight end Elyiss Williams, four-star edge Darren Ikinnagbon, and four-star wideout Talyn Taylor to name a few.
The Bulldogs currently have the No. 4 ranked 2025 recruiting class with 13 total commits so far, but they’re en route to taking over the No. 1 spot if they can keep up this recruiting hot streak.
