Jarred Kelenic have been sidelined for two games by braves GM after ‘dreadful misplay’ at Yankee Stadium.

Atlanta Braves outfielder Jarred Kelenic completely misplayed a ball in center field Saturday during his team’s 8-3 loss to the Yankees at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, N.Y.

Giancarlo Stanton was leading off the bottom of the fourth inning against Charlie Morton and hit a ball to deep center. Kelenic went back for the ball but turned the wrong direction and then had to turn back around. He then jumped off the wall and fell on the warning track as Stanton cruised into second base for a double after the ball bounced off the wall.

FOX’s announcers noted that the wind may have thrown off Kelenic on the play. Let’s hope so, because a big-league outfielder should not be misplaying a ball so badly.

At the plate, Kelenic went 1-for-3 with a walk. Stanton left after that half-inning because he had hurt his hamstring.

How is it that Stanton got hurt around that time and not Kelenic??
