According to a report from L’Équipe journalist Loïc Tanzi, Saudi Arabian side Al-Kholood have opened talks to sign Stoke City’s Ryan Mmaee (26).

Mmaee only joined the EFL Championship side from Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros last summer in a €4m deal, however, his stay with the Potters could be short-lived. In his debut campaign, the Morocco international (12 caps, four goals) played 27 times in all competitions, netting four goals and registering four assists, including three goals in the Championship.

He is now attracting interest from the Saudi Pro League, according to Tanzi. The French journalist understands that Al-Kholood have begun proceedings to sign Mmaee from Stoke City. However, given that the striker only joined the Championship club for a considerable fee just 12 months ago and has a contract that runs until the summer of 2026, the Saudi Arabian outfit will have to be convincing in the negotiations to get the deal done.
