Danny Batth has helped Norwich City and Sunderland reach the Championship play-offs in the last two seasons but could be about to jump down to non-league.
Danny Batth is believed to have held talks about a surprise move to National League side Solihull Moors as he searches for a new club.
The former Stoke City defender, aged 33, helped Norwich reach the Championship play-offs last season after helping Sunderland to a top six finish a season previously. He had joined Sunderland part-way through the season before that and played a key role in helping win promotion from League One.
But he was released at the end of last month and returned to boyhood club Wolves to train with their under-21s side and keep up his fitness ahead of next term.
