The Big Ten Conference and Nebraska announced which players will be joining head coach Matt Rhule in Indianapolis at Big Ten Media Days.

Nebraska will bring a trio of veterans to the Big Ten Conference media days later this month in Indianapolis.

The Conference announced Thursday that defensive tackle Ty Robinson, rover Isaac Gifford and center Ben Scott will be the team’s representatives in Indianapolis for the annual gathering of conference media.

The 6-foot-6, 310-pound Robinson announced last November that he would be returning for his sixth season in Lincoln. An honorable mention All-Big Ten selection last season, Robinson appeared in 12 games and made 10 starts. He had his best season as a defender, totaling a career-high 29 tackles with a career-high six pass breakups while tying his career high with 4.0 tackles for loss. Robinson also added 11 quarterback hurries and blocked a field goal against Iowa.

Gifford also announced in December that he would be returning for another season. Gifford started all 12 games last season for Nebraska and led the defense with 86 total tackles, which were a career high. Gifford also ranked second on the team with a career-high eight pass breakups and finished with a career-high 6.5 tackles for loss and one interception.

Scott made an immediate impact last season after transferring from Arizona State. Scott appeared in all 12 games last season for the Huskers, making 11 starts at center and earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors. Scott started 28 games at Arizona State prior to transferring to Nebraska.

Big Ten Media Days is a three-day event running from July 23-25 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The event will have coverage on the Big Ten Network, with Nebraska being among the featured teams going on July 24.
