Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea reportedly want just £8 million for Callum Hudson-Odoi, a player Sean Dyche’s Everton have been linked with.
Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Chelsea are ready to sell Callum Hudson-Odoi for £8 million in the summer transfer window.
The Italian journalist has added that Fulham are determined to sign the winger.
However, the Cottagers are offering only £4 million for the £120,000-a-week (Spotrac) winger.
90min reported earlier this month that Everton are among the clubs who are interested in Hudson-Odoi.
Chelsea have reportedly told the winger that he is free to leave this summer.
The 22-year-old England international winger is under contract at Chelsea until the end of next season.
Everton should bid for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi
In our opinion, if £8 million is all it would take for Everton to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi, then they should make a bid for the Chelsea winger.
It would be a bargain for the Toffees in the summer transfer window.
It was not long ago when the 22-year-old winger was linked with Bayern Munich.
Hudson-Odoi is still very young.
While the winger has not had the best of times in recent years, he has time on his side and could flourish under manager Sean Dyche at Everton.
After all, at 22, Hudson-Odoi is still very young and could grow, develop and add facets to his game.
And for £8 million, Everton simply cannot let this opportunity go.
During his loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen last season, the winger made seven starts and seven substitute appearances in the Bundesliga and played two minutes in the UEFA Europa League.
The winger has made 72 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Hudson-Odoi has scored four goals and given 11 assists in those games.
