Collingwood forward Harvey Harrison has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2024 AFL season, with scans today confirming a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee.
The 20-year-old sustained the injury during the first quarter of Collingwood’s Round 20 VFL match against Sydney on Friday afternoon.
“This is disappointing news for Harvey who is set to spend an extended period of time on the sidelines,” General Manager of Football Brendon Bolton said.
“Harvey sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury during the opening term of yesterday’s VFL match.
“Harvey has shown resilience in his time at the Club and we’re confident he’ll attack this next period of his rehab as best as he can with the support of our Club and our medical team.”
Harrison will consult with a surgeon in coming days.
