Egypt manager Rui Vitoria has said Mohamed Salah has the quality to remain at the top for another five years, with the Liverpool forward showing no signs of slowing down.
Speaking to the Athletic, the Portuguese coach made the cold prediction that the 30-year-old wing has the capacity to keep performing with the best in football for many years to come, with Salah still at his peak.
The former AS Roma star bagged 30 goals and 16 assists in all competitions for the Reds as Salah played a massive role in saving Liverpool from finishing lower than fifth place in the Premier League standings.
And for Vitoria, the £34m attacker has all the qualities needed to continue his incredible form at the top, with Salah set for another massive year with Liverpool when the new campaign starts next month.
Vitoria said about the Egypt captain: “He will play four or five more years at the top level, because he has the skills that you can’t lose, the decision-making and game intelligence.
“He’s a fantastic professional. He looks to keep improving to stay at a high level. Sleep, breakfast, the gym — anything and everything.”
It would be a safe bet to make that Salah will remain one of the best players in the world in the next few seasons, with the forward’s fitness something that will keep the attacker at the top of his game for years to come.
And this will be massive in Liverpool’s pursuit to return to football’s elite, with Salah having the quality to drag the Reds back from the brink and on top of the footballing world.
Indeed, Salah will be key in Liverpool’s push for a Premier League title and silverware in Europe next season, and the forward could play the same role for the Anfield side for the next few years.
