For the first time since 2020, the Pittsburgh Steelers have scored more than 30 points in consecutive games. While Pittsburgh scored 30 or more points in their wins over the Cincinnati Bengals and Seattle Seahawks at the end of last season, they did not exceed 30 points in their win in the Emerald City.

When they last did that, Ben Roethlisberger was still quarterbacking the team, and Randy Fichtner was their offensive coordinator.

En route to their 11-0 start, the Steelers put 38 back-to-back games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns. The Steelers pulverized the Jets defense throughout the second half, blistering out to 31 unanswered points after trailing 15-6 in the second quarter.

In addition, the Steelers eclipsed 400 yards for the second time this season. The Steelers have done that twice in seven games under offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. In three seasons under Matt Canada, Pittsburgh failed to reach that mark. They did eclipse it once after Canada was fired in the 2023 season.

Both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields helped surge the Steelers’ offense to two strong performances in back-to-back weeks, and they will look to continue that strong momentum into their bye week with a win against the Giants.
