The Georgia Bulldogs are firmly in contention for another college football national championship, but head coach Kirby Smart also has his eyes on the future. One position that remains unclear is at quarterback.

Carson Beck has been touted as a potential high NFL draft pick, but the Bulldogs quarterback’s play against the Texas Longhorns did not help his stock. Smart is already looking for potential solutions heading into the 2025 season.

The Bulldogs have redshirt sophomore Gunner Stockton and highly touted freshman Jaden Rashada as potential replacement options on the roster. Smart is also looking to add more firepower to next year’s squad.

Georgia already has a commitment from four-star quarterback Ryan Montgomery in the 2025 class. It looks like there is another quarterback recruit who has captured Smart’s attention.

Four-star quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele revealed on Oct. 21 that he received a scholarship offer from Georgia, just two days after the Dawgs’ win over the Longhorns.

According to On3.com’s Industry Rankings, the Hawaii product is the No. 15 rated quarterback in the 2025 class. Sagapolutele is already committed to Cal, so it will be interesting to see if Smart can flip the signal-caller. The quarterback also has a visit scheduled with the Oregon Ducks, per 247Sports’ Brandon Huffman.

On3 projects Sagapolutele’s NIL value to be $213,000. For now, Georgia fans want to see more consistency from Beck, especially if the team hopes to return to the College Football Playoff.
