On April 7th, 2026 4-Star TE Brock Harris will make the most pivotal announcement of his football career. That is, whether or not he will join Sherrone Moore and the rest of the coaching staff in Ann Arbor or go elsewhere.

Harris is a 6-6, 240-pound tight end out of Saint George, Utah. He recently made an unofficial visit to Michigan football back in late March, with an official visit scheduled for the 13th of June. This will be his fourth visit to Ann Arbor.

According to the On3 prediction machine, this is a neck-and-neck battle between Oregon, Michigan football, and Georgia for one of the nation’s premiere prospects. The machine gives the Wolverines a 18.3% chance of landing the Utah native, compared to 20.9% and 13.1% respectively for the Ducks and Bulldogs. Among those in his top 6 are BYU, Georgia, Miami (FL), Michigan, Oregon, and Utah.

On his recruitment, Harris said, “I want to thank my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ in whom all things are possible. My mom and dad for always believing in me and being present always. My brother Aiden, I love you bro. And all my coaches and teammates that have made me better.” This comment was made via X.

Perhaps the most worrying trend for the Wolverines is Oregon’s momentum on the trail, fueled by NIL. But don’t count out Michigan football just yet. U-M has shown they’re ready to play with the big boys of the NIL world lately, offering up 8-figure NIL deals for prospects such as Bryce Underwood. I personally believe that the Wolverines will close out this recruitment and add to the 2026 recruiting class, currently headlined by 4-Star CB Brody Jennings.

Harris will be making his commitment at 2:40 PM Mountain time (4:40 EST) with 247 Sports Ultimate College Football Show on their YouTube Channel.
