Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing David Raya this summer, with Brentford valuing the goalkeeper at around £40m.
Manchester United are still interested in Brentford goalkeeper David Raya and could hijack Tottenham Hotspur’s move for the 27-year-old.
Raya has been heavily linked with a move this summer, having impressed for Brentford since their promotion from the Championship in 2021. The Spaniard only has one year left on his current deal and has rejected offers of an extension.
Brentford also appear to have already signed Raya’s replacement, having forked out £11m to sign Mark Flekken from Bundesliga side Freiburg. Both United and Spurs are in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer and Brentford boss Thomas Frank has publicly stated the club wants a fee of around £40m for Raya.
“David has been amazing for us,” Frank said. “He has done fantastic. I think he is one of the best goalkeepers in this league right now. He is one of the captains.
