Everton to make third Gnonto bid

Everton are reportedly ready to make a £25m bid Leeds United’s Willy Gnonto. The club and the player and currently at loggerheads over his future, with the Leeds United hierarchy determined to keep him at Elland Road.

That has resulted in the italian international being unavailable for the last two games and now he, along with Luis Sinisterra and Helder Costa, is training separately away from the first-team group. Leeds have made their position clear but Everton are determined to test their reaolve and are seemingly ready to make another move.

Gnonto signed for the club just 12 months ago and the club hoped he would be one of the players who stayed after relegation. Whether they decide to cash in and allow Daniel Farke’s squad to move on from the saga remains to be seen.

Tyler Adams clauses

Tyler Adams’ propsed move to AFC Bournemouth could be in the balance with reports that his £20m release clause has expired. The US international’s move to Chelsea fell through last week after a medical, but the Cherriers then held talks after activating the clause in his contract.

However, a move has yet to materialse and the player is reported to have been back at Thorp Arch this week. Of course there is still plenty of time to seal a deal before the September 1 deadline, with Adams expected to leave Leeds this summer.
