The 27-year-old Dane still has two years left on his contract but his future at Tottenham is under the scanner.

Spurs have appointed Ange Postecoglou as their new manager and he is expected to move on players who do not suit his style of football.

Hojbjerg is considered a player who could be sold this summer as he doesn’t exactly suit Postecoglou’s requirements.

And according to the German daily Bild, Hojbjerg could have a suitor in place in the form of German champions Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich are in the market for midfielders and have backed out of the race to sign West Ham captain Declan Rice.

Moises Caicedo has also been on their radar but the Brighton midfielder is believed to be keen on a move to Chelsea.

Hojbjerg’s name is being seriously considered and internal meetings have already taken place over signing him.

The German champions have also held talks with his agent but so far, they are yet to make an offer for the player.
