Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to make a formal bid for Nordsjaelland striker Ernest Nuamah, with a host of other Premier League clubs keen on the player.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a blistering start to the Danish Superligaen campaign, scoring five goals in four matches, including a hat-trick on the opening day against Viborg.

Nuamah made his international debut for Ghana in June, playing 28 minutes of an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar in Group E.

Since first featuring for the Danish club in December 2021, the forward has netted 21 goals in 49 matches – a record which has alerted a host of European outfits to his talents.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham are ready to make a formal offer for Nuamah, with Spurs looking to beat a raft of Premier League rivals to the capture of the youngster.

The report claims that Brighton & Hove AlbionWest Ham United and newly-promoted Burnley are all interested in recruiting the Ghanaian this summer from the Danish Superligaen.

It is understood that the Hammers and the Clarets have already submitted offers for Nuamah to Nordsjaelland, with Roberto De Zerbi‘s Seagulls also in the race for the player’s services.

Following the sale of all-time leading scorer Harry Kane to Bayern Munich earlier in this window, Spurs are in the market for a new first-choice forward.

Richarlison has started Spurs’ first two league matches in a central-striking role, however it is believed that Ange Postecoglou does not see the Brazilian as a long-term solution in that position.

It is believed that Spurs have held preliminary discussions with the 19-year-old’s representatives ahead of a potential switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

Another report states that Nuamah has gained admirers around Europe, with Paris Saint-GermainAjax and AC Milan all monitoring the attacker’s situation as the transfer window reaches its conclusion.

Spurs will be looking to record back-to-back wins in the Premier League as they travel to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, when Richarlison is set to lead the line once again for the visitors.
