Jurgen Klopp opens up on Mohamed Salah future as Jamie Carragher shares Liverpool theory.

Jamie Carragher does not believe Mohamed Salah will be sold by Liverpool during the current transfer window – but has refused to rule out the idea of the Egyptian exiting next summer.

Salah has been the subject of interest from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, who have already recruited one Reds player in the form of Fabinho, though the ECHO understands Liverpool are not open to the idea of selling their prized asset and are yet to receive a formal offer.

Jurgen Klopp reinforced this message when speaking at his press conference on Friday afternoon, highlighting the importance of the 31-year-old, though many heads have been turned by the riches of the Saudi Pro League in recent weeks.

Jordan Henderson’s decision to head for the Middle East took many by surprise and Liverpool are now under pressure to avoid losing another valuable squad member prior to deadline day.
