The Daily Mail have claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are considering a late move to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham.
It has been widely reported over the last couple of weeks that Spurs are looking to offload Ndombele permanently this summer, with Ange Postecoglou said to be less than impressed with the midfielder’s attitude (The Sun).
On Monday, the Spurs head coach himself appeared to hint that the 26-year-old is on his way out of the club by stating that he is part of the ‘five or six’ extra players Tottenham have, who cannot be named in the Premier League list (Football.London).
It has recently been revealed by several sources that the former Lyon man is attracting interest from the likes of Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Rennes and Nottingham Forest (RMC Sport).
PSG could now enter the race for Tanguy Ndombele
If The Mail’s latest update is to be believed, Ndombele could now emerge as a shock late target for PSG.
The report states that the Parisians have asked about the Tottenham man in each of the last three windows.
The Ligue 1 giants are now said to be considering offering the misfiring midfielder a route back to French football before Friday’s transfer deadline.
Spurs Web Opinion
PSG are perhaps one of the very few clubs in world football who can take on Ndombele’s current wages. I believe Tottenham would be happy to accept a cut-price transfer fee for the player as they would be keen to offload him permanently after loaning him out during the last two seasons.
