Harry Souttar discusses potential transfers after Rangers linksAfter a summer of rumors, Harry Souttar believes that his sole focus is on rejoining the Leicester team.
The international from Australia was expected to leave the Championship club in the summer after struggling to find a position under Enzo Maresca.
Additionally, there was a lot of talk about a potential transfer to Rangers in the days leading up to the summer transfer deadline.
However, because Souttar stayed at Leicester, no such relocation ever happened.
He has now spoken up about his circumstances at the club, saying that they have been “tough” and that his future is uncertain.
It’s been difficult, he remarked. I believe there were numerous articles on borrowing in the press.
Harvey Barnes and Elliot Anderson are addressed by Steve Clarke in further detail.
“I play for Leicester. I’m going to do every effort to attempt to rejoin the squad.
Since the manager must make the final decision, all I can do is train hard and attempt to convince him that I am capable of rejoining the squad.
While game time for Leicester has been hard to come by for Souttar, the defender was still backed by Australia boss Graham Arnold.
Souttar played the entirety of the 2-2 draw against Mexico yesterday and even scored the opener for his side, with Hibs’ Martin Boyle scoring the second.
He featured on the bench for Leicester on the opening day of the season against Coventry but is yet to play a minute for his club competitively this term.
