LIVERPOOL PLAYER BLOWS PETER SCHMEICHEL AWAY AFTER WIN OVER WOLVES: “THAT IS OUTSTANDING”
Mohamed Salah’s flash of genius on Saturday at Molineux helped Liverpool defeat Wolves, and Peter Schmeichel praised it.
Schmeichel praised Mohamed Salah’s ‘excellent’ assist for Andy Robertson’s game-winning goal as he did so for the second straight away match.
With five minutes remaining, Liverpool capitalized on a botched goal kick by attacking Wolves’ defense through Robertson and Salah. Salah then found the substitute captain with a beautifully weighted pass, and the left-back finished it off.
As he informed PL Productions (16/09/23 at 8:35 pm), it astounded the legendary former goalie Schmeichel of the Premier League, especially the ‘unbelievable’ touch from Salah to put himself up for the pass.
Salah is a creative player, not a goalscorer, and he has two goals and four assists after five Premier League games. Forget about Salah the goalscorer.

Salah’s death is underappreciated

As a goal scorer, you must be merciless, and Salah undoubtedly possesses that quality.
However, as he recently shown at St James’ Park and once more yesterday, his coolness under pressure while producing a pass is exceptional and undervalued.
Schmeichel remarked, “What a finish (from Robertson). “When the keeper of the goal receives the ball (to kick it out of his hands). You’re not supposed to do what the Liverpool players are doing there, in my opinion.
“However, the referee ignored it and the VAR did not examine it. Salah receives the ball next, and that brief touch is amazing. Don’t diminish the quality of the pass or the finish. That is excellent. The pass is visible. Just quality, really.
