Maddison has had a massive impact on this Tottenham side and he’s already a fan favourite thanks to his goals, assists, and attitude on the pitch.
In a BBC interview with Gary Lineker, Spurs manager Postecoglou gushed about Maddison.
“Signing him was risk-free because he’s a superb athlete. I recognized that. But what Postecoglou stated, “I’ve been really happy with is how he’s embraced the whole club.
“And it’s crucial because the guys from previous year always have a little bit of a hangover. Whatever the circumstances, having such a rough year drains you as a person. You need the males to enter and say, “I wasn’t involved in that.” He entered, took a look at the surroundings, and exclaimed, “This is unbelievable.” He accepted the leadership position I put him in.
