Chelsea’s new boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen on having 23-year-old Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in his ranks.
According to a report by Fichajes, Chelsea are keen on signing a new striker in the near future and they have their eyes set on Dusan Vlahovic. The 23-year-old was subject to a lot of interest from across Europe throughout the summer, but he ended up staying at Juventus.
However, the interest in his services remains intact, and clubs could push for him in the winter. After proving himself in Serie A while playing for Fiorentina, Vlahovic joined Juventus in the winter of 2022. He has managed to score goals every now and then but has not had the kind of impact the Old Lady expected him to have.
As a result, there were a lot of doubts over his future, and quite a few clubs want to sign him. However, he ended up staying at the club. The Serbian international has got off to a great start in the new season under Massimiliano Allegri. He has featured in six league games and has contributed towards five goals.
The 23-year-old is now an important part of Allegri’s first team and with his contract running until the summer of 2026, prising him away from the Italian club is no longer an easy task. According to the report, a transfer at this stage would cost around €80 million. A fee that not many clubs in world football can afford.
