West Ham were keen to bring Thuram, 22, to the London Stadium this summer as a replacement for Declan Rice.

Dream over for West Ham as Khephren Thuram reportedly closes in on Liverpool move
Nice-Matin reckon that the Reds are on the verge of snapping up the French starlet. And that’s a real shame for the Hammers.
Breaking The Lines describe Thuram as an ‘elite’ midfielder, and they’re absolutely spot on.
The Ligue 1 outfit are believed to be demanding a whopping £51 million for Thuram.
In 35 Ligue 1 games for Nice this season, the Frenchman bagged two goals and four assists. During those appearances, the 22-year-old averaged 1.5 tackles and 1.1 interceptions per match. He made 37.7 passes per game on average and recorded an impressive completion rate of 86.9% (Who Scored).
He has the 10th most progressive carries per 90 minutes out of all Ligue 1 midfielders this term (Euro Expert), and has been described as an amazing player by Total Football Analysis.
Yahoo say he’s an explosive midfielder, whilst Liverpool website Empire of the Kop have labelled the French midfielder as a player with ‘unreal skill’.
The Nice star has all the attributes needed to successfully pick up the baton from Declan Rice when he eventually leaves the London Stadium.
Unfortunately for West Ham though, Liverpool are clearly in pole position to sign Khephren Thuram in the summer transfer window.
Moyes really should have moved quicker to sign the 22-year-old in my opinion.
