Everton set sights on Leeds United winger
Football Insider claims Everton have set their sights on a £16million move for Leeds United winger Jack Harrison, with a release clause of that value reportedly in his contract. The Toffees are among a number of teams interested in his services this summer following relegation to the Championship.
Harrison came close to joining Leicester City in January, only for the club to pull the plug on the move. The 26-year-old would sign a new deal with Leeds in April, extending his stay at the club until 2028.
The Blues are also said to be keen on Tyler Adams, Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville. The report claims a double swoop, for Harrison and Gnonto may not be off the cards, but the Toffees must comply with FFP.
Leeds United and Real Betis reach ‘agreement in principle’ for Marc Roca departure
Leeds United have reportedly reached an agreement with Real Betis ahead of a proposed exit for Marc Roca. The Spaniard looks set to join the La Liga club on loan in the coming days, with the report claiming a deal had been closed.
Estadio Deportivo claims Betis have reached an agreement with the Whites to loan the midfielder for next season given a clause in his contract and have even managed to negotiate an option to buy into the proposed deal. Leeds are said to have been reluctant to insert a clause, but were left with very little option according to the Spanish press.
There is no mention of what kind of fee it would take to make the deal a permanent one, but Roca is said to have agreed terms well in advance.
The La Liga side are said to have an agreement to pay Roca’s wages in full and he’s looking forward to playing under Manuel Pellegrini in Europe next season.
