The Green Bay Packers defense will be preparing to face Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy on Sunday. Jeudy has been involved in a ton of trade rumors over the last month, approaching the October 31 NFL Trade Deadline.

Jeudy is a former first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Broncos are 1-5 this season, and they are getting closer to having a potential fire sale within the next two weeks. Denver exercised Jeudy’s fifth-year option on his rookie option, and he is due a fully guaranteed $13 million in 2024.

There are reports that the Indianapolis Colts are one of the teams that have had extensive talks with the Denver Broncos about Jeudy. However, ESPN’s Colts beat writer Stephen Holder confirmed talks are taking place and also said that:

“Here is what I was told by multiple sources: The Broncos called the Colts, not the other way around. Denver has made numerous calls to teams, I’m told. In face the Broncos have contemplated moving him for quite a while (going back to last season). As for the Colts, I would say there is some possible minimal interest. But I would be very surprised if anything came of this.”

The Green Bay Packers Will Face Jerry Jeudy This Weekend and Have Also Been Linked To Him, But It Appears No One May Want Him

The Packers have been linked in trade talks this season with Jeudy of the Denver Broncos. It doesn’t make much sense for them because of the young wide receiver room they have with Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks. The Colts don’t have a strong, wide receiver room either, and Josh Downs is one of their primary wide receivers on the roster.

With Denver calling Indianapolis, it appears as if they want to get Jerry Jeudy out of the building and somewhere else. Will see if the Indianapolis Colts want him, but it may seem that there might not be any takers for him once the NFL trade deadline ends. Jeudy, so far this season for the Denver Broncos, has caught 20 passes for 222 yards and zero touchdowns. He is averaging 11.1 yards per reception.

Jerry Jeudy is 24 years old and may need a change of scenery to benefit his career, whether it is the Indianapolis Colts, the Green Bay Packers, or another team. Good luck trying to fix him and make him motivated.
