Brendan Rodgers insists he won’t lose any sleep over the prospect of Ange Postecoglou returning to Celtic to plunder his former players.
Top-scorer Kyogo Furuhashi and Japanese international midfielder Reo Hatate have been linked with moves to rejoin the Australian at Tottenham.
Winger Jota and former Spurs central defender Cameron CarterVickers have also been quoted as potential targets.
Impressed by the player structure put in place by head of recruitment Mark Lawwell, Rodgers says he is relaxed over the possibility of players moving elsewhere and believes Celtic are well placed to replace them.
‘Over the course of our discussions I’ve seen the market we’re in and how well the recruitment has gone,’ he said.
‘Mark Lawwell has this pipeline of players that are available and it’s really impressive what he’s done since coming in and the markets he’s been able to tap into.
‘That will continue. That’s where the club is at. Listen, when you’ve got top players at the club they are always going to attract attention elsewhere.
‘Those boys have come in and done exceptionally well. Good players will always attract attention. But I don’t worry about that.’
Spurs are set to complete their first signing under Postecoglou as goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is set to join from Empoli for £17million.
James Maddison has also been heavily linked with a switch to London and it is believed that Spurs are growing in confidence over a deal for the midfielder, who Rodgers previously managed at Leicester.
