The New Orleans Saints host the Atlanta Falcons at noon next Sunday in a game that’s a must-win for the Saints to stay in the playoff hunt.
The game in the Caesars Superdome will be shown on CBS.
The Saints (8-8) beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-13 to create a tie atop the NFC South, but the only way Dennis Allen’s squad can win the division is to take down the Falcons and have the Buccaneers lose on the road to the Carolina Panthers on the final weekend of the regular season. The Bucs-Panthers game also kicks off at noon.
One wild-card spot in the NFC also remains up for grabs. In order to claim that, the Saints would need a victory and losses by both the Seattle Seahawks (at the Arizona Cardinals) and Green Bay Packers (home against the Chicago Bears). Those games kick off at 3:25 p.m.
Despite losing 37-17 to the Bears on Sunday, the Falcons (7-9) also remain alive in the NFC South. They need a win over the Saints and a loss by the Buccaneers, a scenario in which Atlanta would win a three-way tie for the division.
The final game of the season will be on Sunday night between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, with the winner taking the AFC East title.
