AFC Wimbledon Women are thrilled to announce their first signing of the season – Leanne Bell.
Leanne joins the Dons from Billericay Town, have previously starred for Portsmouth, Crystal Palace, and Watford FC, where she helped Watford to reach the Championship during five seasons there.
As an attacking and versatile player with a wealth of experience at higher divisions, Leanne promises to be a key addition to an already experienced squad.
After completing the signing, manager Kevin Foster said: “We are delighted to finally get Leanne over the line! Her experience of tier three football and above, alongside her bright and personable approach to life, will fit into the group seamlessly. We look forward to seeing Leanne get to work.”
On signing for the Dons, Leanne stated: “I can’t wait for the season to get started and I’m looking forward to playing with the girls and meeting the fans!”
