Recruitment: Four-star DB agrees to play for Georgia Bulldogs following latest offer.

The Bulldogs have found success with other New Jersey recruits and the recruitment has already started with another defensive standout.

Georgia’s push into New Jersey has had a unique impact on 2026 defensive back Jordan Thomas.

He’s seen the Bulldogs’ infiltration of the Garden State firsthand. He witnessed it when his own Bergen Catholic high school team Nyier Daniels be recruited by Georgia. Thomas got a chance to see him earlier this spring during his Athens visit. Daniels has dropped a lot of weight already, and it showed Thomas immediately just how much you can transform at a place like Georgia.

“Nyier Daniels, he looks in great shape. He’s very happy at Georgia. When I went down to see him this spring, he was very happy. He looks like he’s doing really well. When I went to see him that day, he did say it’s just different here,” Thomas said. “It’s crazy the nutrition, the workouts, it’s amazing how he went from high school and now he looks like a grown man in college.”
