The Parramatta Eels players is said to be heading to Super League.
The word is out that Daejarn Asi could be a Super League player next year, with the Parramatta Eels player said to be on his way to the competition next season.
Asi, 24, is a halfback with NRL experience, having made 39 appearances in the competition for North Queensland Cowboys, New Zealand Warriors and most recently, the Eels.
A report in The Australian has claimed that Asi looks likely to head to the competition next year, with Parramatta keen to sign Dean Hawkins from South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Since the report emerged, Rugby League Live has spoken to a number of sources who have confirmed that Asi has been offered to clubs in recent weeks, though the general feeling is that at this point no deal has been agreed for him to come to Super League.
There aren’t a heap of clubs thought to be on the lookout for halfbacks, though it’s no secret Hull FC are. Warrington Wolves are another though they are being heavily linked with London Broncos’ Oli Leyland.
