Longtime NFL analysts Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico were in the booth in Week 13, covering a matchup between the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers on “Sunday Night Football.”
During the Week 13 matchup, Collinsworth made an interesting comment about Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
The Buffalo star made a highlight play in the third quarter that resulted in a receiving touchdown for the MVP candidate.
Allen found Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper near the goal line. When Cooper was met by a couple of 49ers defenders, he lateraled the ball to Allen and the Bills QB rushed in for the touchdown.
Collinsworth was seemingly excited about the play, mentioning that he has Allen on his fantasy football team.
“It didn’t hurt me either,” Collinsworth said. “Josh Allen’s my fantasy quarterback. I’m not kidding you, it just showed up. I got a touchdown pass and whatever the other touchdown was.”
Allen was asked about Collinsworth’s comments after the game, sharing a hilarious response.
“So did I,” Allen said.
Allen ultimately helped the Bills earn a 35-10 victory over the 49ers, advancing to 10-2 on the season. With the win, Buffalo is now riding a seven-game win streak.
They clinched the AFC East divisional title, protecting home-field advantage in Week 13. The Bills are now 6-0 at Highmark Stadium this season.
Allen finished the game with two touchdowns and 148 yards, completing 13-of-17 pass attempts. He also added the receiving touchdown as well as a rushing touchdown with 18 yards on the ground.
In terms of fantasy football, Allen recorded 28.42 points in Points Per Reception (PPR) scoring.
