Nebraska defensive lineman Elijah Jeudy announced he would be returning to the program next season. He made the announcement on Sunday afternoon.

Jeudy played in every game this season and had nine tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. This included a three-tackle game against the Wisconsin Badgers, which was a career-high. He began his career at Nebraska in 2023 after transferring from the Texas A&M Aggies.

Jeudy will be a senior in 2025. His return is notable, given that Nebraska is losing key contributors in Ty Robinson and Nash Hutmacher.

Jimari Butler is also expected to return to the program, giving depth to a defensive line with a lot of young talent entering the program. Jeudy’s return gives Nebraska the flexibility to develop the younger talent for the future.

The Huskers are still awaiting their bowl game assignment following a difficult 13-10 loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes on Friday.
