Emile Smith Rowe is reportedly in line for a shock Emirates departure with Arsenal willing to offload the attacking midfielder.
It comes amid claims of an approach from Chelsea for the 23-year-old following his slow start to the Premier League season.
The three-cap England international, who helped the Young Lions win the Under-21 Euros in July, has been an unused substitute in the opening three Premier League matches.
Meanwhile, he only featured in the last three minutes of the Gunners’ Community Shield triumph over Manchester City.
And according to The Times, the north Londoners are prepared to sell the Hale End graduate, who still has three years left on his contract.
This has seen Chelsea approach Arsenal over a possible move before the transfer window slams shut later in the week.
It has been said that Smith Rowe is frustrated by his limited game time and his omission from the team and has been offered to other unnamed rivals.
But the Blues have competition for the player, with the news outlet stating other unnamed top-flight clubs have been offered the chance to snap him up.
Arsenal are yet to put a valuation on Smith Rowe, and it is unclear whether they would be prepared to sell the youngster to London rivals Chelsea.
Though they are keen to raise funds after splashing out over £200million on players this summer, with Smith Rowe – and defender Gabriel Magalhaes – facing an uncertain future.

It was the Spaniard who handed Smith Rowe his senior debut during the 2018/19 season, where he scored three times in six games for Arsenal.
In total, he has chipped in with 18 goals in 97 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions.
The 2021/22 campaign saw him score ten Premier League goals where he became the first academy graduate to reach double digits since Cesc Fabregas 12 years earlier.
