Wolves have reportedly signed a player likened to Angel di Maria.
According to accounts, Wolves defeated elite European teams to the singing of highly regarded Chilean youngster Dario Osario. Osario, who is regarded as one of South America’s top young players, is on the verge of joining the Premier League team for an estimated sum of £5.5 million.
Due to his skill with the ball, the 18-year-old winger has been compared to Juventus legend Angel di Maria. He won’t turn 19 until January, but he has already played in two matches for Chile’s senior national team.
Wolves moved ahead of some of Europe’s top clubs in a deal to sign Osario from Chilean club Universidad. At least one of Serie A’s biggest clubs tried to sign the attacker, while Manchester City and Real Madrid have previously been linked.
Osario is said to be set to join Wolves in a £5.5m deal. A Serie A club watched him play for Chile’s U20 team against England last week but now might be too late to pursue a move
