Crystal Palace to hold out for ‘seriously big’ Joachim Andersen offer
According to Danish media outlet Tipsbladets, Crystal Palace are set to hold out for a ‘seriously big offer’ before they even consider letting Denmark international Joachim Andersen leave the club this summer. Newcastle United have reportedly enquired about his services this summer as they look for defensive reinforcements.
However, with interest in fellow centre-back Marc Guehi from Tottenham Hotspur, the Eagles are said to be reluctant to lose both players this summer. The report from Scandinavian suggests another year at Selhurst Park will be the most likely option given the length of his current contract.
It goes on to say the possibility of a new contract with the Eagles is also not out of the question. Newcastle’s interest is said to be at its early stages as they look to close in on a midfielder and a left-back ahead of their return to the Champions League.
