Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant was not happy about some recent comments from his former teammate Andre Iguodala.

In a recent episode of Iguodala’s “Point Forward” podcast with Evan Turner, the 1-time All-Star pinpointed what he believes to be Durant’s lone flaw.

“There’s only one flaw in KD’s game — and it has nothing to do with basketball. KD’s only flaw is he won’t lift weights. That’s it,” said Iguodala.

Iguodala did follow up by saying that watching Durant workout was “one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.”

But the praise wasn’t enough to distract the former MVP from the first part of Iguodala’s statement. Durant reposted the snippet of Iguodala on X with a caption insinuating that his former teammate was lying about the supposed “only flaw.”

“Now I don’t lift weights, aight man….. these boys say anything on these podcasts,” Durant wrote.

Durant and Iguodala spent three seasons together on the Warriors. Three years appears to be an adequate amount of time to determine a teammate’s weight room habits.

However, Durant wanted to make it clear that his lack of muscle mass isn’t from a lack of trying.

Durant has long been considered relatively skinny for his size in the NBA. But given KD’s all-world skills and unreal length, his slight frame never stopped him from being one of the most dominant players of his generation.

Durant remains as effective as ever at age 35. Through 20 games played this season, the Suns forward has averages of 30.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.6 assists on a stellar 52% shooting clip.
